JONATHAN KNEEBONE TO CHAIR 2009 MADC AWARDS |

 | | The MADC Committee is pleased to announce that Jonathan Kneebone of The Glue Society has been appointed as Chairman of Judges for the 2009 MADC Awards.
"Of the many shows I've been asked to judge in the past, MADC stands apart as the one that always seems to get things right. The work that is genuinely the freshest always seems to be the work that's most rewarded. And politics always seems to step aside for actual talent. MADC ANNOUNCE NEW COMMITTEE |
|
The new-look Melbourne Advertising and Design Club (MADC) committee was unveiled at the handover meeting recently, with a new President and Vice announced for the 2008/09 year.
Decided by a ballot vote, the new MADC President is Christy Peacock who is Senior Regional Creative from Publicis Mojo and will be ably assisted by the MADC Vice, Richard Ralphsmith, Deputy Creative Director of Clemenger Harvey Edge (CHE).

2008 MADC MENTOR PROGRAM - In Review |
|
The MADC with support from CHE recently concluded the 2008 Mentor Program and feedback indicates that the Program just keeps getting bigger and better.
The 2008 Mentor Program was open to 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students studying advertising and design at Swinburne or RMIT as well as any AWARD School entrants.
The entrants had to answer a brief in order to get into the program and the shortlisted were then asked to submit a two minute video on why they should be selected into the Program - i.e. you've made the shortlist, now prove how keen you are. This gave us our final 12 for the 2008 Program.
